Sepow is a modern web-based survey and employee assessment platform developed to help organizations measure employee engagement, performance, and satisfaction through automated scoring and secure access controls. Designed with a clean, professional blue-and-white interface, it simplifies how HR departments and managers collect insights and visualize team analytics in real time.

The MVP was built around a structured 7-question multiple-choice survey system, featuring instant scoring and an administrative dashboard for participation tracking. Organizations can register, manage team members, send unique survey access codes, and generate performance reports — all through a responsive and easy-to-navigate dashboard. Payments are integrated via Stripe for scalable access management and billing.

Process Story

The Sepow project started as a lightweight MVP with an ambitious 40-day timeline, focusing on functional scalability and elegant simplicity. The engineering goal was to create a survey engine capable of securely managing multiple organizations, users, and sessions — with automated scoring and future-proof data modeling. The backend was developed with Node.js and Express using MongoDB/Mongoose for flexible schema handling. The frontend was powered by React and Next.js to ensure smooth navigation and fast rendering.
